Born anxious is finally taking real shape and I’m extremely proud of it ,our main message is Be kind , spreading awareness through our products with this message across the entire range . 100% organic label free mind clothes so the message can be carried in comfort , so many awareness t shirts are harsh fabrics or have labels both of which are a huge issue for my son and many other children .
I do practice what I preach, and Oscar wears the t shirts regularly ,and they really help, we have had some great feedback so far and we recently shared a very heartwarming story of how our t shirts were really helpful to a certain family, when there child had a seizure in a busy theme park , with this feedback in mind we are about to launch our advertising campaign ,we have almost now finished adding our designs to the website and we will be sharing more and more of our story with you , this will begin with The Kent Autistic trust covering the story I just mentioned in detail and we really appreciate their support .
The feedback over all has been great and is great to see how happy people are when they get the T shirts , I personally love to see how everybody’s tastes are so different and we have a lovely mix of orders coming through from plain to personalised, and that’s why we have so many designs each unique to us ,but also to give you that choice as the spectrum is so vast we wanted our range to be too .
we are also very excitingly launching world wide , our message is universal , my personal goal is to get to sesame place( USA), which is a special needs theme park , to collaborate with them or even have our products photographed there would mean everything , sesame street is a big theme in our house for our 5 year old ASD son ,and we do take him to portaventura ( Spain)every year as they have seasame land , but to take him to America to sesame place is the bigger plan , one of the creators of Julia the Autistic Sesame Street character , is a blogger I follow and fellow special needs parent , he has an Autistic son named the king, he is a big influence of mine and one of the main influences of why I bought my born anxious idea to life .
spread kindness and awareness always inspire each other to make a change and that folks is my aim.
I want Born anxious to breakthrough the stigma of disabilities and special needs, why shouldn’t they have their own clothing label ? It is their message, and everyone is welcome to support and take part , ultimately I want this to be oscars company he can put his stamp on when he’s older , he is who inspired the original idea aside from the people who inspired me to actually do something about it, it’s such a big important message that affects us daily , not everything goes without saying , so for now we are networking , remaining grateful for the support, supporting important charities through donation as our way of giving back to those who help so many people struggling with disability’s special needs and Autism .
born anxious also provides modelling opportunities for special needs disabilities we are not a modelling agency but opportunities to model as part of enjoying and achieving ,it is as important as for our children with special needs to create those opportunities, they have so many unreachable or hard to reach targets and progress is sometimes slow, so we feel it’s important to celebrate how amazing they are across all spectrums , disabilities , and special needs .
